Maui sunset

     After a magnificent day snorkeling in the sea, we headed back to the ship and quickly changed clothes to head out again. We boarded the bus and started the journey to Haleakala national park for sunset. The ascent to over 10000 feet was steady but sure. Upon arriving at the top, we saw the "science center" with the meer telescope and the volcano crater and remains. Great sunset to end a gorgeous day!  Photos from our sunset experience just below the summit.  The ride up was long and windy.  On the road down, we hardly pushed the brakes save for the near miss of the vehicle between our two buses.
